As a BAS member, Formula not only strives to achieve phased goals alongside BAS but also upholds the spirit of together we win, leading the supply chain toward growth. Taiwan’s supply chain is distinguished by its collaborative craftsmanship, where products are the result of collective expertise across multiple manufacturing processes rather than individual excellence. One of Formula’s sustainability goals is to further highlight the contributions of upstream suppliers.

In 2025, Formula internal carbon footprint team will collaborate with external professional consultants to review the carbon emissions process. This includes compiling supporting documentation and certification reports, with the goal of applying for ISO 14064-1:2018 verification in 2026. At the same time, we will evaluate the application of green power certificates and develop sufficient self-generated solar power to achieve our target of a 3% carbon reduction by 2027.

In 2025, we also plan to introduce the concept of ESG to our suppliers. The Shift Cycling Culture climate training program for the bicycle industry provides an easy way to understand ESG concepts and objectives. Moreover, we will manage regular workshops and interactive sessions to support suppliers in gaining a deeper understanding of greenhouse gas (GHG) calculations. By 2026, suppliers are expected to have the capability to calculate Scope 3 emissions.

All the journey will be written record on the "Formula ESG platform". We believe that continuous efforts can shape a better future for both humanity and the planet. Each month, we publish the stoies that is related environmental (E), social (S), and governance (G) aspects, setting a benchmark for the industry. We hope this platform will help employees and suppliers gain a deeper understanding of ESG.
